The SawStop technology is applicable to all
woodworking equipment including table saws, band saws,
handheld circular saws, miter saws, cut-off saws, jointers,
planers, and shapers. SawStop has already constructed
prototypes of a band saw, a cut-off saw, a miter saw, and a
hand-held circular saw. Video demonstrations of the band saw
and cut-off are shown below.
These
prototypes are shown for demonstration purposes only and are
not available for sale. SawStop has not established any
immediate plans including a production schedule for a standard
release of these potential products at this time.
